Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Leeds would see the permanent departure of defender Rasmus Kristensen, who will remain in Eintracht Frankfurt in the foreseeable future after the two clubs have concluded an agreement. He will be formalized in summer, but during his first appearance since the announcement, things did not go well for the Danish international.
Kristensen had no particular time of success in Leeds. He spent the 2022-23 season at the club, before consecutive loan spells in Roma and Frankfurt, with whom he will now remain permanent.
Kristensen, who impressed in Germany, was in action for Frankfurt during their quarter -final of the Europa League against Tottenham on Thursday, and he spent a difficult evening. And this was picked up by the German media in the aftermath of the 1-0 victory for the side of Angel Postocoglou.

About Leeds United NewsFrankfurter Neue Presse published a scathing assessment of Kristensen’s performance against Tottenham during his player ratings.
“As always, with a lot of power and commitment, but also with some errors. The permanently signed dune had trouble with Mathys Tel.
“He had to convert him to the 82nd minute. Two minutes later, he was again in a dangerous position and was just as miserable. This affects his performance; the line is sometimes extremely thin.”
