Anti-immigration activists and customs (ICE) in Denver, Colorado, managed to thwart the agents trying to stop an illegal migrant sought in Italy for children’s rape.
Ice Colorado said on Friday that their agents were trying to hold Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, a criminal foreigner from El Salvador who was found guilty of children’s rape in Italy, when members of a local anti-ice group alerted him from their presence.
Ice said that the group, Colorado Rapid Response, posted on social networks that Ice was in the region, allowing him to flee time.

“During our surveillance of Leon, members of the rapidly response from Colorado and alerted it from the presence of the law enforcement, which allowed it to escape arrest,” said Ice Colorado. “Groups like this interfere with the capacity of the ice to ensure the safety of communities.”
Ice shared a Facebook publication of the group, written in English and Spanish, alerting its subscribers to the presence of ICE in the region and the type of vehicle agents used.
Ice asked the public to report that Leon-Deras to the federal authorities if she saw the migrant but warned the public not to approach him.

Denver mayor Mike Johnston previously swore the station police to prevent ice agents from carrying out deportations, and a report has shown that the city has spent more than $ 356 million dollars from taxpayers in migrants. A Denver 2017 prescription limits managers with ice cooperation.

Two weeks ago, a crowd of anti-ice demonstrators set fire to cars in Los Angeles, damaged property and threw stones on the police, forcing Trump to activate the National Guard.

“No Kings” protests across the country last week were partly fueled by opposition to mass deportations.
On Friday, internal security secretary Kristi Noem said that 75% of illegal foreigners arrested under the Trump administration had been accused or recognized as a crime.
