More than 212,000 pounds of liquid egg products that can contain a cleaning solution with sodium hypochlorite are recalled at the national level, the American food and food inspection service announced on Friday.
The producer is Cargill Kitchen Solutions, based at Lake Odessa, Michigan.
The articles of liquid eggs were produced on March 12 and 13, 2025.

The 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products have the number “G1804” printed on the box.
The items have been sent to distributors in Ohio and Texas, as well as the use of food services in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois and Iowa.

“It is possible that the products are distributed nationally,” said the recall.
The FSIS received a tip in the potential contamination of these products, the service said in its recall notice.
“Consumers who bought these products are invited not to consume them.”
“After carrying out an in -depth survey and evaluation of the content of the cleaning solution, FSIS scientists concluded that the use of this product should not cause unfavorable consequences for health, or the risk is negligible, resulting in a class III recall.”

Until now, no confirmed report of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products, has also indicated the announcement.

“These products must be thrown or returned to the place of purchase.”
