Like the Wildfires in Los Angeles continue to consume parts of Southern California, leaving homes destroyed and families displaced, many are wondering how it all happened.
Authorities have deployed arson investigators to Pacific Palisades to determine the origin of the blaze that ravaged thousands of structures in the neighborhood.
“The cause of the fire remains unknown and remains under active investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said Thursday.

But some celebrities don’t believe it.
“THERE IS an arsonist here in LA,” actor Henry Winkler wrote Wednesday on X. “May you be beaten beyond recognition!!! The pain you have caused!!!”
Actress Alison Sweeney simply replied “okay.”
Singer Chris Brown took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday and wrote, “Someone started these fires. S— don’t add it up.”
“Dancing With the Stars” pro Peta Murgatroyd shared a tweet originally posted by political and cultural media personality Xaviaer DuRousseau that read: “LOS ANGELES / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THERE ARE AT LEAST FIVE MEN WEARING SKI MASKS AND STARTING FIRES. KEEP AN EYE OUTSIDE.”

TV personality Elizabeth Chambers posted a screenshot of reports of people starting fires.
“I feel like it’s so much more than nature,” she wrote in her post. Instagram Stories.
Famous podcaster and neuroscientist Andrew Huberman shared a video on which allegedly shows a group of people standing near what appears to be a freshly lit fire in Santa Monica.
“People are lighting fires in areas of Los Angeles that otherwise don’t burn,” Huberman claimed on X, alongside a video. “We don’t need any more flames here. Some of these guys started this fire…the tree caught fire, and the palm trees catch fire.”
Despite the various allegations, Los Angeles police told Fox News Digital, “We have not received any reports of arson.”
On Thursday, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone announced that the Eaton and Palisades wildfires were 0% contained. The Eaton Fire grew to 10,600 acres and the Palisades Fire reached 17,234 acres.
Another wildfire in Acton was 40% contained, Marrone said. This fire was limited to only 348 acres.
Firefighters also managed to stop the progression of the Sunset Fire in the Hollywood Hillsofficials said.

Around 180,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and another 200,000 are under evacuation warnings.
Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Sandra Lee, Paris Hilton, Spencer and Heidi Pratt are among a long list of celebrities who have lost their homes.
