The chief executive officer of the Rangers, Patrick Stewart, said that a “football review” takes place in the club after the legend of Ibrox Barry Ferguson was named successor to Philippe Clement for the rest of the season.
The team of coaches of the former Rangers captain will include the deputy director of Clement, Issame Charai, and Neil McCann, Billy Dodds and Allan McGregor, with his first match in charge in Kilmarnock in the Scottish Minister on Wednesday (8 p.m. GMT ).
During their first home game since they were eliminated from the Scottish Cup by the second level of Queen’s Park on February 9, the 55 champions were beaten 2-0 by St Mirren to leave them 13 points behind the leaders and The Rivaux Amers Celtic and spell the end of the reign of 14 months of Clement.
Clement dismissal: “deep concern” of the rangers “
“I was clear that everyone is judged on the results and that no one will have an unlimited time in a role at the club,” said Stewart Rangers website.
“In the end, the team’s response after its early release of the Scottish Cup was an in -depth concern, which led the council to conclude that measures should be taken now.
“I want to repeat: the problems we face are deeper than the manager. The current football review aims to solve these problems, and we will continue to implement its conclusions in the weeks and months to come before the appointment of a new permanent manager. »»
