There is only one day left until the start of the long-awaited Nascar All-Star race, a non-paid race of the season. The event should take place this Sunday, May 18 at the North Wilkesboro Speedway. Fans are impatiently awaiting the start of the Open All-Star this year.
The stars race will be challenged on the short oval track of 0.625 mile. 23 Drivers will compete for more than 250 laps on Sunday to get a chance to drive the victory path.
During the qualification session of the stars on Saturday (May 17), the RFK Racing Brad Keselowski driver won the post for the Nascar stars race on Sunday in North Wilkesboro, because it was the fastest on the track with an average turn of 77.264 MPH and a time of 87.363.
Keselowski will also start on the post for the heat race 1. Christopher Bell, who qualifies second, will start on the post for the heat race 2.
Qualifications also included a quait stop at four tires. The # 71 team of Chevrolet Spire Motorsports from Michael McDowell won the 2025 stand crew challenge after registering the fastest four -pistol stop stop, with a 12.587 seconds stop.
