Rapper 50 Cent offered to pay $ 258,000 to the New York Town Hall City Hall City Hall to leave the city. The rapper’s comments came in response to the name of Mamdani, to cut the name on a podcast earlier this month.
In an Instagram article dated June 26, 50 Cent shared a clip by Zohran Mamdani talking about his tax plans for the rich. The name of the candidate for the Democratic town hall exceeded 50 cent and said he would not be satisfied with his tax policy. In response, the rapper shot on Mamdani by questioning his identity and offering to pay a lump sum to convince him to leave NYC. He wrote,
“Where does he come from?” Who is it friend? I don’t feel this plan. No. I’m going to give him $ 258,750 and a first-class first-class ticket from NY. I say to Trump what he said too! “

The comments of a hundred were in response to Zohran Mamdani explaining his tax policy in an episode of the podcast of the Breakfast club dated June 11. The politician said,
“We are talking about companies that earn millions of dollars, not in income, but in profit. And the second taxing the highest 1% of New Yorkers. We are talking about people who earn a million dollars a year or more, simply taxing by an increase in tax by 2%.”
Mamdani then mentioned a hundred and added,
“I know that if 50 cent listens, he will not be happy with that. He tends to love this tax policy, but I want to be very clear that it is about $ 20,000 per year.”
Zohran Mamdani made the headlines after defeating former governor Andrew Cuomo in a major upheaval in the mayor’s primary democratic elections on June 24. If it was elected mayor of New York in November, Mamdani will be the first Muslim and Indian mayor of the city.

After Zohran Mamdani became the alleged democratic candidate for the mayor of New York, his previous career in hip-hop was revealed. The socialist candidate tried hip-hop before his ascent in the world of politics.
According to the New York Times, Zohran Mamdani began his hip-hop career in the late 2000s. At that time, he presented himself for a student vice-president of his school, Bronx High School of Science. Mamdani would have lost the election, but it gave birth to his political aspirations.
Mamdani previously struck under the pseudonyms Young Cardamome and Mr Cardamom. He notably released an EP of six tracks in collaboration with his longtime friend, Abdul Bar Hussein (Rap Hab), in 2016, entitled Sidda Mukyaalo. The EP presents Hab and Mamdani Rapping in six different languages, including the references of the Ugandan heritage shared of the pair.
For those who do not know, Zohran Mamdani was born in Uganda to Indian parents. His father is academic Mahmood Mamdani, and his mother is the popular filmmaker Mira Nair. He moved to New York at the age of seven.
Apart from his 2016 EP, Mamdani also released the song Spice # 1 As part of the soundtrack of the Disney biographical drama, Katwe queen. According to Billboard, Mamdani’s music flows have increased considerably since he became the mayor’s candidate. One of Mamdani’s songs in 2019, Nani, also became viral online after its elections.
The combined catalog of Mamdani and HAP experienced an increase of 2,300% in the United States and 1,543% worldwide, reports Billboard. The track Spice # 1 would have seen the highest jump, with an increase of 2,600% in the United States and 1,900% worldwide.
