The questions that the “yellow jaques” put to its character are those that the Original pitch document of the series described as the themes of conduct of history:
“What are we capable of when our darkest desires are given not only a voice, but also a step on which to use it?

The refrain of the opening theme of the series East “No return, no reason.” Also remember in the pilot, when the yellow trucks literally wore animal masks during their hunting and feast on because they had become wild? In the desert, these masks have become their real faces, and the human faces they carry in the present are only another layer of masks.
The past and the present are watching this episode even better because Melissa begins to become more than the candies of Shauna’s arm. Lemon balm wishes Go home; Kodiak pulled him through his shoulder with a crossbow bolt in “Croak”, which had to remind him how painful and dangerous the desert can be.
The title of the episode sounds stronger because “a normal boring life” East What Shauna ends up living, or at least a facsimile. She was miserable at the start of season 1. Remember when she killed and cooked a rabbit from her courtyard, in a sign that her myself still lived in her? He had to assassinate someone for her and Jeff (Warren Kole) to rekindle their marriage. Based on what we have seen, Melissa is the only yellow to have really found a normal life, and that’s what she fights to protect. His absence so far does not undermine the credibility of the show as I feared; It shows once again that the yellow trucks are cursed.

Shauna, however, is determined that Melissa doesn’t amended. At the end of the episode, Shauna bites a piece of Melissa’s arm and the fact of himself. Shauna is always the girl who is unleashed and ate her best friend, and she wants Melissa to know that she can never not either a cannibal.
“Yellowjackets” season 3 started slow, but episode 6, “Thanksgiving (Canada)”, was one of the best episodes in the series and a blow in the arm that “Croak” and “A Normal Boring Life” followed. Hopefully this season can better stick the landing than the theft of Yellowjackets!
“Yellowjackets” is in trouble on Paramount + with Showtime, with new episodes in the first on Friday.
