Exploring personal and home smart gadgets at CES 2025
Improved smart and home gadgets are taking center stage at CES 2025, from XREAL AR glasses with an ultra-wide screen to Anker’s power bank for laptops and personal devices. The annual technology and business event takes place in Las Vegas and this year, brands have upgraded their personal and home devices for multi-purpose uses. There’s the Eureka J15 Pro Ultra Robot Vacuum, a hands-free, autonomous device that doubles as a mop with a self-emptying base.
In Anker’s case, their power bank can charge three devices at once, including a laptop, so users don’t need to bring their charger. The properties of the devices can reduce environmental impact through their design, in the same way that Acer uses bio-based materials for its Aspire Vero 16 laptop. Their screens may also be less prone to scratches and to breakage, as shown by the Ceramic Board glass of the OnePlus 13 smartphone. Other brands bring a touch of design to the smart gadgets they presented at CES 2025, such as the XGIMI laser projector, covered in a fabric in waterproof mesh.

Sharper screens with Acer Aspire Vero 17 and OnePlus 13
These smart gadgets improved at CES 2025 are also intended for personal use. This is one of the main objectives of Acer with the unveiling of Aspire Vero 16 laptop. Its 16-inch screen delivers crisp, clear images with 100% sRGB color support. It also features a wide aspect ratio, thanks to thin bezels, so users can enjoy edge-free viewing. Compared to previous models, 70% of its chassis parts are made from bio-based materials, including the touchpad made from recycled plastic from the oceans. OnePlus 13 The smartphone, also unveiled at CES 2025, also has a clear display, but the difference between this smart gadget and Acer’s laptop display is the phone’s Ceramic Board feature.
This is an in-house developed glass that sits on top of the smart phonemaking it more resistant to drops, scratches and more serious breakages. It also has a 2K ProXDR display for more vivid viewing, as well as a 50MP Hasselblad lens that allows users to capture 4K Dolby Vision videos and images. If users plan to use both of these devices continuously and then their battery runs out, they can plug them both into an outlet. Anker 737 Power Bank. The smart gadget unveiled at CES 2025 comes with a capacity of 24,000 mAh which can benefit from up to five full charges for a smartphone and 1.3 charges for a tablet. It can also charge any laptop, and if users want, they can plug in up to three devices at once without heating issues. There is a small digital display at the bottom of the box power bank so users can monitor the device’s charging and battery levels.

Extendable screens with xreal ar glasses and XGIMI projector
Personal entertainment is also a design theme for a number of smart gadgets that debuted at CES 2025. XREAL outings AR glasses with an adjustable ultra-wide screen equivalent to a 256-inch screen. The upgraded device is also flexible in terms of screen settings, as users can reduce or enlarge the display size depending on their mood. The design team says the visuals are also more stable, so that even if users walk or move, the display remains sharp, clear, and unshakeable.
If users prefer properly stable viewing, XGIMI told them AURA 2 laser TV projector can offer them an “IMAX experience” outside of theaters. The projector can correct skin and color tones of the screen for clearer views, reduce noise in graphics and give movies and images cinema-grade quality with its developed optimization engine. Users can also use this smart gadget unveiled at CES 2025 for gaming, and the design team says the device has an autofocus feature so images won’t be blurry or shaky. The laser projector also adapts to any wall color so viewing is always sharp and offers users screen alignment assistance for an ideal screen ratio.

Versatile smart gadgets for homes at CES 2025
CES 2025 is also the platform to showcase smart home gadgets. It’s space Reolink chose to reveal Welcome Centerwhich is a wireless security center for cameras and to protect owners’ data. It supports up to two 512GB MicroSD cards and eight high-definition cameras, including dual-band Wi-Fi cameras. The design team claims that the smart gadget unveiled at CES 2025 can provide data protection against unauthorized access, even if owners’ devices or SD cards are stolen.
Another smart home gadget with a versatile function is Eureka’s flagship 15 Pro Ultra robot vacuum. It has an aluminum fan structure with a empty suction that can deep clean floor crevices and carpets and FlexiRazor blades that can cut hair from its brush roll. Once the vacuuming is finished, it takes out its built-in mops to clean the floors, and its Smart Clean mode allows the device to assess the room itself and clean dirty spaces. These smart gadgets presented at CES 2025 and available have been upgraded to install the latest technologies tailored to users’ personal needs, from wearables to home devices.
